Well, I'm a professional photographer, but I don't like to brag! I get to meet hundreds of amazing people every week, travel to great locations, and take pictures that will last a lifetime! I'm living my best life, one shutter click at a time.
The ultimate satisfaction of being a photographer comes from seeing the reactions of my clients and their loved ones, from the beaming smiles and joyful tears to the enthusiastic “oohs” and “aahs”. I help clients revisit and relive their special event through my work. And of course, I love seeing the magnitude of likes and comments on social media my clients get.

Fun: I’m all about creating that positive, upbeat atmosphere while maximising our professional photos. This can make the whole shoot feel more energised and exciting. It also results in better, more authentic photos! I do just about anything to get that perfect shot, even if it means standing on top of my car!Grateful: I’m so grateful for my partner (Gianna), our family, friends, that I get to build relationships with people, and professionally document special events every week. Every event that I capture, I treat as though it is my own. I put in 110% to make sure you have the experience of a lifetime.

I am currently convincing Gianna to skydive with me!

In 2019, I completed a degree in Medical Science. In 2021, I completed Psychological Science (Honours) and achieved First Class! Thereafter, I spent extensive time volunteering at LifeLine Australia.

Joey photographed my Engagement Party. Joey was fantastic from start to finish!
Communicating with him was so easy and he made myself and my fiancé feel welcome straight away! He took the stress out of having to organise all my crazy family and friends by taking the lead and ensuring there were hundreds (yes hundreds!) of beautiful photos captured to the highest of professional quality throughout the night. So many of my family and friends also mentioned what a fantastic job Joey did! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking at a great event photographer!

Our Love Story
Fun fact: we are high school sweet hearts! We began being close friends in high school and many years later, our love has grown. After high school, we went to university together and completed our Psychology degree. We volunteered at LifeLine Australia together. We went travelling together. And now, we love working at Joey’s Photography together.
We capture weddings, engagements, baptisms and other events. We have experienced so many beautiful couples get married, engaged, and so many birthdays across South Australia.
Our clients choose us because our photos are timeless, we know how to make you smile, pose, laugh, and ultimately HAVE FUN!
